Slack Moderator

This fall we will be launching the TFA Bay Area Resource Exchange. The purpose of the Exchange is to:
  • Provide corps members an opportunity to connect with other corps members who teach their same content/grade
  • Create a space where corps members can quickly share files, videos, photos, quick tips, etc. with their peers
  • Increase the speed with which corps members can reach out for help and get an immediate response specific to their content/grade
  • Provide a quick access, online bank of resources CMs can easily search and archive for their own records
The Exchange will be hosted on the Slack collaboration platform, and TFA will be covering the full cost of the license for corps members during their time in the corps. This year, the Exchange will not be available to alumni, but we will open it up in 2019. However, in order to maintain the quality of our exchange and flow of knowledge and resource sharing, we are looking to hire alumni to serve as content channel moderatorsAs a channel moderator, in return for receiving free access to the platform, $100 stipend, and everything shared ($100 value), you will:
  • Post at least 3-4 tips, resources, etc. each month for the channel you own
  • Respond to messages from CMs in your channel group
  • Moderate/remove inappropriate content or messages
We are specifically looking for individuals who currently teach in a school and have 4+ years of experience.
