The Manager will play an integral role on the team by leading the implementation and execution of effective communication strategies across all regions and developing resources and tools for efficient and effective member outreach. This role will discern and promote data-driven practices. Additionally, the Manager will serve as a liaison with the LEE Communications team and partner with staff across the organization.This role requires exceptional attention to detail and strong project management, as well as demonstrated experience in creative problem solving. The Manager must be a strong collaborator who excels in proactively identifying opportunities to connect and innovate.Position Location: FlexibleTravel Requirements: 15% for team events and conferencesResponsibilities:Regional Communications Design & Support (40%)Lead the development and implementation of initiatives that support the team’s 21 regions in member outreach using email and additional mediums (social, text, etc.) Serve as a strategic partner to develop communication plans with team members Support with logistical needs to ensure smooth implementation (drafting email or social language, creating graphics for events, etc.) Create and/or update website pages and contentStructures & Resources Development (20%)Create scalable structures and resources to meet team’s communication-related needs Proactively identify team needs and opportunities to enhance effectiveness, and brainstorm strategic solutions alongside regional and national staff Develop deep understanding of communication engagement data and create resources and structures to share with team, lift up best practices, and increase impactCross-Team Collaboration (30%)Partner deeply with the Communications team to learn and plan together and ensure coordination of initiatives and timelines in line with organization goals Work with LEE’s Communication team to develop regional strategies and resources that are cohesive with national offeringsSpecial Projects (10%)Additional communications-related initiatives as assigned by manager Minimum Qualifications:4+ years relevant work experience Bachelor’s Degree Experience designing and implementing project plans Attentive to detail, thorough and organized Strong written and verbal communication skills Deep passion for educational equity and belief in LEE’s mission and theory of changePreferred Qualifications:Experience working with email CMS Strong experience communicating and collaborating within a geographically dispersed team Some familiarity with Salesforce suite of tools (member database and tools)
