This person will manage the team’s logistics, as well as coordinate internal and external stakeholders, processes, and perform administrative duties in order to help the team to execute its programs and processes to support our members in pursuit of high impact opportunities. The Coordinator will provide program support to Directors on the Policy and Community Impact team who lead and/or collaborate on fellowship programs, senior leader workshops, and strategic policy support to senior leaders. The Coordinator will also provide administrative support to the Senior Director of Policy and Community Impact (e.g., submitting expense reports, managing team meeting logistics), and to the Vice President, Policy and Advocacy (e.g., scheduling and expense reports), as needed.One of the Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will be to manage internal and external communication, including drafting communication in multiple mediums, such as emails, blogs, social media updates, and other digital content. This position is also responsible for data maintenance and integrity as well as creating data reports and analyses that provide insight and enhance the team’s effectiveness. The Coordinator will serve as liaison to the Communications and Technology teams on behalf of the Policy and Community Impact team’s programs and products including member engagement campaigns.This role requires creativity, resourcefulness, the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in person and remotely, exceptional attention to detail, and an ability to create systems - to ensure we are constantly learning, improving, and developing ways to work more effectively. The Coordinator needs to exercise strong judgment in responding to questions, troubleshooting problems, and flagging issues for other team members as needed.Position Location: Bay Area, Los Angeles, Atlanta, or Washington, D.C.Travel Requirements: Up to 20%Responsibilities:Coordinating Stakeholders, Communications, Processes and Administrative Functions (40%)Track deadlines and create or update organizational systems to ensure team productivity and effectiveness Create and manage diplomatic, engaged communications with internal and external constituencies Manage team communications tools such as webinars and digital tools Draft documents for review such as emails and communication, blog posts, and other digital content in coordination with other Policy and Community Impact team staff Identify opportunities to streamline and improve efficienciesData Entry, Monitoring and Tracking (40%)Collect and enter data into LEEnk database and maintaining accurate records Work across teams at LEE, especially with the technology team, to drive efficient collection and analysis of data Regularly review the Policy and Community Impact team’s data reporting to ensure it is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible Update data, pull reports, create dashboards, and utilize data analysis to enhance the impact of the team Train other members of the team on data systems and entry Create planning documents, trackers and reports to help the team to understand its data and to drive insights on its progress Maintain the integrity and availability of the Policy and Community Impact team’s data in Salesforce/LEEnk and leading data clean-up activities on a regular schedule or as requested Complete custom data requests and pull and update reports, as neededAdministrative and Team Support (15%)Schedule the Policy and Community Impact team meetings and other requests General project management, including maintaining meeting timelines and deadlines Event support, as needed Handle scheduling for Vice President, as needed Reconcile AMEX reports Other admin duties as requestedSpecial Projects (5%)Support and manage special project related assignments, as needed Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree 2 years of prior work experience Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, track, and manage workflow and resources with attention to detail Excellent technical and communications skills Exceptional written and verbal acumen Ability to develop engaging communications for internal and external audiences across multiple mediums Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Facility with online platforms and databases (e.g. Google documents, Salesforce) and ability to quickly learn new platforms Entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, results-oriented environment Approaches challenges/opportunities with creativity and resourcefulnessPreferred Qualifications:Experience in education sector/classroom Interest or experience in policy, advocacy, organizing, electoral politics Experience with data analysis Considerable experience using Salesforce Experience in project and/or program management Experience with digital communication (e.g. e-newsletters, blog posts, etc.) Ability to communicate and collaborate within a geographically dispersed team Strong, demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion Deep passion for educational equity and belief in LEE’s mission and theory of change
