Are you prepared to lead the recruitment process for an incredibly mission-driven organization?As the Associate Director of Talent Acquisition and as a member of our Talent Team, you will create and implement Alpha’s annual recruitment strategic plan in partnership with the Managing Director of Talent Operations, using data to evaluate progress during implementation and pivot if needed. You will think critically about the systems and processes used at Alpha to recruit and select top talent, and collaborate with the Talent Team and hiring managers across the organization to improve efficiency and effectiveness. We're committed to finding leaders who value and amplify the diverse experiences of our staff and scholars and their families, and who care deeply about addressing the inequities that exist in education.What you’ll do…Promote Alpha’s staff culture, mindsets, and values internally and externally as an enthusiastic ambassador of the organization Own accountability for all key recruitment metrics, as determined in partnership with the Managing Director of Talent Operations Create an annual sourcing  and cultivation strategy, plan, and targets that align with Alpha’s recruitment needs and broader talent strategy Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders Attend national, regional, and local recruitment events such as career fairs, conferences, panel discussions, and networking events Network aggressively and proactively to cultivate and sustain key relationships and open new recruitment channels Manage professional development of Alpha’s Talent Acquisition Associate Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Associate to effectively “divide and conquer” ownership of all open positions and candidates Conduct interviews and cultivation meetings to understand candidates’ fit with Alpha Public Schools and with specific open positions Manage Alpha’s applicant tracking system (ATS) from both a strategic and tactical perspective, with fluency in all day-to-day ATS functionality and the ability to leverage the ATS to drive efficiency and results Design and develop equitable interview processes in alignment with skill-based role requirements Partner with the Sr. Director of Teacher and Leadership Development and Alder GSE to drive recruitment for the Alpha Teacher Residency program You possess…Bachelor’s Degree required 2+ years of experience in recruitment 2+ years of experience in the education sector (preferably in a K-12 school setting or education management firm) 4+ years of professional experience, with progressive levels of leadership You stand out by being a...Builder.
