We're committed to finding educators who value and celebrate the diverse experiences of our scholars and their families, and who care deeply about addressing the inequities that exist in education.What you’ll do…Provide TK/Kindergarten scholars and teacher(s) in an assigned classroom or grade-level instructional supports to close achievement gap(s)
Schedule and execute small group instructional pullouts for learners in the classroom or grade level assigned
Analyze data and conduct assessments to track student intervention progress and make informed decisions
Support establishing and maintaining standards of student behavior for a productive learning environment during class sessions
Execute classroom management plan, behavior intervention plans, and incentive systems in collaborations with lead teacher
Support teachers and administrators in in varied capacities including but not limited to:
Communicating with parents in a productive and proactive manner and abide by hours set by the school
Assisting in the day to day operations of the school as needed
Build Relationships by maintaining an open line of communication with families and staff
Work to maintain a positive culture on campus by building strong relationships with scholars and adults alike
Successfully strike a balance of nurturing and firm in your communication with scholars
Establish and maintain standards of student behavior for a productive learning environment during class sessions
Grow Professionally
Engage in professional development opportunities provided by Alpha
Receive and implement feedback from experienced educational coaches
You possess…HS Diploma or GED, required (AA degree preferred)
OR completion of two years of college, not a degree but seventy-two (72) quarter hours or forty-eight (48) semester hours of college credit
OR a passing score on the Praxis Parapro Assessment Test
High behavioral expectations and academic expectations for all students
Excellent knowledge of child development and educational practices
Experience working with students and classroom management
Willingness to be flexible with your schedule
