Alpha is seeking a temporary Regional Operations Associate (ROA) to cover the temporary leave of our current ROA. The temporary ROA will play a critical role in supporting the operational functions at the network level and support the work of the Operations Teams at the school level across four charter schools.What you’ll do…Attendance: Facilitate Alpha’s student attendance processes, including ensuring all state and local attendance reporting is accurate and on-time, both on a monthly basis but also for official reporting periods (“P-1”, “P-2”, and “P-Annual); Primary point of contact for attendance reporting with our authorizing bodies, including Santa Clara County Office of Education, and our authorizing districts. Food Service: Oversee Food Service compliance and supporting systems, including engaging with School Food and Wellness Group (SFWG, our Food Service Consultant) around monthly reimbursement needs, as well as supporting school sites around their weekly food service team needs. Review/Submit claims in a timely manner, monthly Lead lunch staff Professional Developments Facilities: Support our school-based teams in their facilities related needs, including management of Alpha’s groundskeeper. Project management and execution of large-scale facilities projects Procurement: Support procurement needs for network and school operations Other Operations Projects: Support the Chief Operating Officer and Associate Director of Operational Systems around a variety of operations systems and tasks, as needed. Support School Operations Managers around start-of-year and end-of-year logistics and special projects (ex. classroom setup and safety, facilities clean out, office moves, communication setup, keys and alarm setup and distribution, and others as assigned by supervisor) Participate as a critical member on monthly facilities, safety, and operations walkthroughs of each school You possess…Bachelor’s degree, strongly preferred 2+ years of full-time work experience, experience in education strongly preferred Proficiency with attendance reporting, Infinite Campus, excel/google sheets preferred Attention to detail: The ROA will have an especially keen eye for the minute details around the creation, submission, and review of various types of critically important data. Project management: You have experience being a project manager for various systems and processes.  You can effectively manage a project through setting clear goals and timelines, keeping a wide range of stakeholders accountable, and assessing progress for the successful completion of the project. Relationship Builder: The ROA expertly leverages and builds relationships with a wide range of stakeholders  (staff, teachers, families, students) to improve the outcomes on their projects.
