Talent Acquistion Associate

We're committed to finding leaders who value and amplify the diverse experiences of our staff and scholars and their families, and who care deeply about addressing the inequities that exist in education.What you’ll do…Employ a proactive recruitment approach for all open positionsIdentify, cultivate and influence top candidates to work with Alpha through the promotion of Alpha’s culture, Leadership Principles and values
Leverage social media, networking events, and other resources to source prospective candidates
Use Alpha’s applicant tracking system (ATS) with fidelity to ensure all information is updated and current, providing user support as needed
Review resumes and applications to determine which candidates move forward in the interview process
Conduct initial phone screens to understand candidate’s fit with Alpha Public Schools and assess the candidate’s match with open positions
Ensure Alpha’s job opportunities are posted on all priority job boards
Select and attend recruitment events such as career fairs and networking events, and proactively seek out other network-building opportunities
Partner with the Associate Director of Talent Acquisition (ADTA) to complete activities including but not limited to:Tracking candidates through the cultivation process and ensure timely communication with candidates and hiring managers via Alpha’s ATS
Partnering with Hiring Managers to coordinate logistics of interviews
Supporting annual recruitment data review and collaborate with ADTA to assess effectiveness of past year’s recruitment approach and refine approach to the year ahead
You possess…Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
2+ years of full-time work experience
6+ months prior experience working in recruitment/hiring/staffing
Fluency in: Google applications and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel occasionally
Knowledge of effective use of search engines, job sites, social networks, and other search tools in order to cultivate candidates
Experience driving impact in K-12 education: Teaching experience locally or in a similar community strongly preferred
Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining open lines of communication with key stakeholders and candidates.
