You will join the College Success Team, and help to amplify Alpha’s impact in the community. This role will be responsible for communicating with students regarding clerical information required for graduation and college applications. We're committed to finding team members who value and celebrate the diverse experiences of our scholars and their families, and who care deeply about addressing the inequities that exist in education.What you’ll do…Embody the mission, vision and core beliefs of Alpha Process new student records, including requesting transcripts and record from other schools, and inputting data into the appropriate databases Process and transmit requests for student information, including student transcripts for colleges and universities Manage GPA calculation records, class rank, and honor roll files Assist academic counselor with scheduling Access student data to determine A-G eligibility and on-track to graduation status; Certify graduating students’ eligibility for graduation Communicate on-track status with all appropriate stakeholders Maintain transcript data in Infinite Campus (student information system) Collaborate with network Operations team on CALPADS submissions for end of year needs Communicate with stakeholders at the school (principal, college counselors, etc) to provide information on enrollment or grade issues and ensure support with fixing any issues Support with a a variety of clerical duties, including collecting, checking and distributing report cards and transcripts, I-20 and Form 10 and 11 requests, language assessment (ESL), ethnicity reports, disadvantaged information, Chapter 1, GATE, Migrant Ed and other information Build strong relationships with scholars and Alpha staff You stand out by being...Collaborative: You are especially team-oriented and are able to implement school-wide systems effectively and consistently Organized: You have the knowledge and understanding to manage multiple work streams that relate to A-G requirements, graduation requirements, college entry and acceptance, financial aid, supports,resources, transcripts review, credit recovery and other academic/student support information as necessary Focused on growth: You exhibit a strong commitment not only to our students, but also to your own continuous professional development.
