We're committed to finding leaders who value and amplify the diverse experiences of our staff and scholars and their families, and who care deeply about addressing the inequities that exist in education.What you’ll do…Oversee all major operational systems and processes at Alpha, including facilities, procurement, attendance, state reporting, data systems, and food service Facilitate improvement of network-wide systems and procedures Partner with the Associate Director of School Operations to ensure that school-based operations teams understand, learn, and follow Alpha’s operations systems and processes Manage the Regional Operations Associate and Regional Data & Operations Associate around strong execution of Alpha’s operational systems Manage the IT team at the network office Partner with the Chief Operating Officer on long-term strategy of operational systems and procedures at Alpha. Partner with network and school colleagues on a variety of critical medium and long-term projects You possess…Bachelor’s degree 3+ years of full-time work experience in school or central office operations required Experience with California school-based reporting systems (CALPADS, Student Information Systems, Attendance Reporting) strongly preferred Systems and Process Development: You are excited about creating clear systems and processes for problems that come up. You can create clear instructions and are able to communicate and teach these systems effectively to others. Project leadership: You have experience being the owner of various systems and processes. You can effectively manage others through setting clear goals and timelines, keeping a wide range of stakeholders accountable, and assessing progress for the successful completion of the project. People Management: You are able to effectively manage a team with different skills and competencies, with care, flexibility, and high expectations.
