We're committed to finding leaders who value and amplify the diverse experiences of our staff and scholars and their families, and who care deeply about addressing the inequities that exist in education.What you’ll do…Embody the mission, vision and core beliefs of the Alpha Public SchoolsExecute all day-to-day responsibilities:Accounts Payable Process A/P via check batches, ACH and vendor portals Communicate with vendors and staff as needed Payroll Process bi-monthly payroll Generate and submit payroll reports, including retirement systems, human resource-related functions, general ledgers. Bank Transactions Enter Debits and Credits Maintain Chart of Account and other Accounting reports Team & Development Responsibilities: Support Annual Fiscal Audits as needed Address audit tasks during “audit season” Align ongoing tasks to audit-based compliance Assume leadership for assigned projects related to your responsibilities Engage in professional development opportunities You possess…Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets Excellent written communication skills Familiarity with Accounting platforms such as Netsuite, a plus Experience with CALSTRS or other public retirement systems, a plus You stand out by being...Relationship-Oriented: You build strong relationships with colleagues, and you successfully communicate needs.
